The latter is precisely the case with CATCO-Phoenix’s production of Encyclopedia Brown, the story of a sharp-witted boy able to solve all of the most puzzling crimes in his town of Idaville.
Young actor follows play from audience to stage

When the Phoenix Theatre for Children previously staged Encyclopedia Brown, the title role was played by Joe Bishara - and a boy in the audience saw his first theatrical work.
Bishara is directing a revised production of the adaptation by Artistic Director Steven Anderson, and the boy - Anthony Baldasare, 15 - is playing the young detective.
