With the help of her unwavering mentor and teacher, Annie Sullivan, Helen unlocked the mysteries of speech and communication despite the challenges of being blind and deaf. Following the success of The Phoenix Theatre for Children's critically-acclaimed bilingual production of The Secret Garden last season, this production will employ deaf and hearing actors together and integrate American Sign Language and spoken English.
